Folding, which nothing else here does
A grass box is a large empty volume. In use it is full for perhaps twenty
minutes a week in season; for the rest of the year it is a box of air on a
shelf.
This one folds flat.
On a small shed — and a cylinder mower belongs to a small garden, which
generally means a small shed — that is the difference between storing the
machine properly and leaning it against a wall with the box on the floor.
Free-standing, and the scoop
Two related properties of the same design.
A box that stands up by itself can be set on the ground, filled by hand,
carried and tipped without being held open. A bag that collapses has to be
propped against something, which is why leaf clearing with a soft catcher
involves more bending than it should.
Using it as a scoop for leaves is the extension of the same idea, and it is the
sort of thing that only occurs to somebody who has used one.
The 49 litres
Effectively the same as the 50-litre box beside it on this shelf, and twice the
nylon bag at the other end.
On a cylinder mower cutting a maintained lawn, any of the three will do — these
machines produce very little material per pass. The volume matters more when
the box is used for leaves, which is exactly what the scoop feature implies.

“A compatible design” is not a fit statement. On a catcher, the mounting is the
specification, and this listing describes the bag and not the attachment.

From 50 € to 65 €, that being the spread across the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores on the day of the survey.
Beyond the euro zone, the British Amazon store prices it in its own currency, which the spread above sets aside.
