COMPO reaches two treatment shelves here, and the more instructive of the two is the moss product.

It is a combination: a lawn fertiliser that also carries a moss killer and a weed treatment. This site keeps it on the moss killer shelf because the maker names that function explicitly on the pack — but the page says it is a feed as well, and that matters for what happens next.

A combination product changes the sequence. A treatment alone is followed by raking out the dead moss and overseeding the bare ground. A treatment that is also a feed puts nitrogen down at the same time, which is right in spring and wrong in late autumn, when a feed should be potassium-led and low in nitrogen.

The seed is an overseeding mixture with a stated coverage. As on every seed listing here, the site prints the rate per square metre rather than the area on the front.
