Organic formulations and a soil test

Neudorff has built a business on formulations positioned as organic and biologically based, and two of its products reach this site.

The lawn treatment is a combination: a fertiliser carrying iron and potassium and described as stopping moss and weed. As with every combination on this shelf, the page names it as a feed as well as a treatment, because that decides whether it belongs in a spring or an autumn programme.

The pH test is the entry worth singling out, and not because of what it costs. Soil acidity is the factor most often blamed for a mossy lawn and least often measured, and the whole moss shelf is downstream of a guess that a ten-minute test would settle.

This site’s soil tester shelf is otherwise electronic probes of varying credibility. A chemical test with a stated number of applications is a different kind of article, and the page says so.
