A cordless leaf and lawn collector in the maker’s 18 V platform, supplied without pack and charger. The working height is set steplessly on a knob with a simple scale, between LOW (close to the ground) and HIGH (long grass). The sweeping mechanism is a 55 cm wide rotating plastic brush whose speed can be set individually. The 100-litre bag has a carry handle and an easy click-in system for quick fitting and emptying. An integrated safety push bar protects against unintended starting and a stable stand holds the machine during a pause. The handle adjusts to three heights and folds for storage. Two large wheels ease guiding and turning on uneven surfaces. Manual operation without a pack is also possible.
On every other machine on this shelf the brushes are geared to the wheels. Walk faster, they spin faster; walk at a comfortable pace on long grass and they barely turn.
That is the actual limitation of a manual sweeper, and it is why they work well on a hard drive and indifferently on a lawn. A motor sets the brush speed independently of your legs.

Because on a manual sweeper the brush speed is your walking speed. On long or uneven grass you need the brushes turning fast and you cannot walk fast, and those two requirements fight. A motor separates them.
The maker states manual operation without a pack is possible — the wheels still drive the brush as they do on every other machine here. That makes the motor an assistance rather than a dependency, which is unusual and worth knowing.
