The two nail lengths
The useful specification, and one of only two depth figures published on this
whole shelf.
55 mm — the long nails, for grass.
40 mm — the short nails, which the listing calls screed nails, for walking
across a freshly poured floor while it cures.
Both sets are in the box. That second trade is why these exist in the numbers
they do: a tool that sells to gardeners in spring and to floor screeders all
year is a better business than a tool that sells to gardeners in spring.

By moving the front strap, which is the honest version of “one size”.
It is a wide enough range that one pair covers most of a household, and that
matters more than it sounds: these are used twice a year and stored, and a pair
that only fits one person gets used half as often.
What solid nails do, and do not do
A nail is solid. It goes in, the soil has to go somewhere, and it goes
sideways.
On a light or sandy soil that is fine — the surface opens, water gets in,
nothing is much compressed.
On a heavy clay it is more complicated. Pushing a solid spike into wet clay
compresses the walls of the hole, and the ring of soil around each hole can end
up denser than it started. The hole drains; the soil beside it drains worse.
That is the whole case for hollow tines, which pull a core out instead of
pushing soil aside. One product on this shelf has them, it costs more, and it
is slower per hole.
This page states the trade rather than pretending the cheap tool is the same
tool.
And the practical limit
Coverage is whatever you walked over.
There is no width to quote because the width is your stride, and a lawn done
properly on foot means deliberate overlapping passes across a whole plot. For a
few dozen square metres that is a pleasant twenty minutes. For a large lawn it
is an afternoon, and the shelf’s other tools exist for that reason.
