What the maker prints on its own page
No more carrying: simply leave the mower outside. Protects against rain, sun,
dirt and snow. Weatherproof and water-repellent. Tailored to the mower. Secure
fixing with stable metal eyelets and hole cord stops. Made of robust
polyethylene textile at 110 g/m².
A good fit for the mower body and the handle element. Suitable for standard

Three covers on this shelf give a denier — a thread weight. This is the only
one that gives a fabric weight, which is the number that describes how much
material there actually is.
For comparison: a light garden tarpaulin is around 100 g/m² and a builder’s
sheet is two or three times that. 110 g/m² is a light sheet — enough to shed
rain and take ordinary handling, not enough to survive being dragged over a
rough deck edge every week.
Eyelets instead of a cord
The other covers here are pulled tight by an elasticated hem. This one has
metal eyelets and cord stops.
That is a different approach to the same problem. A drawcord gathers the bottom
edge; eyelets let the cover be lashed to a fence, a post, a bracket or back to
itself.
On an exposed site the second is what keeps the cover where you put it. A large
sheet over a mower is a sail, and the usual way a cover is lost is a gale
rather than wear.
Water-repellent, said plainly
The listing uses the honest word.
A polyethylene sheet with stitched seams sheds water that runs off it. Water
that stands in a fold — which is what happens on the flat top of a mower cover
— eventually finds a stitch line.
Draping a cover so it slopes is worth more than the fabric specification.
The size, which is a different shape
97 × 103 × 50 cm.
Compare that with the two Oxford covers here at around 195 × 66 × 110 cm. This
one is short, wide and low; those are long, narrow and tall.
The difference is the handle. A cover sized 195 cm long is going over a machine
with its handlebar extended; this one fits a mower whose handle is folded down
over the deck.
Measure the machine as you actually store it.
