Mower covers
WFYBMB Cover for GE-CM 36/47 HW Li
The only cover here that names a machine, with a silver-lined 210D Oxford and an adjustable hem cord.
What the maker prints on its own page
A cover for one named cordless mower, also stated to suit most walk-behind
mowers, with the buyer asked to check the dimensions of their mower — length,
width and height — before purchase to make sure the cover fits.
Lightweight 210D Oxford fabric with a silver-coated inside, protecting the
mower from rain, sunlight, dust, leaves, clippings and dirt. The flexible
material is easy to put on and take off and folds small after use.
Designed for outdoor storage and suitable for garages, sheds, terraces and
gardens, protecting the mower between uses and reducing the accumulation of
moisture, dirt and garden waste during storage.
An adjustable hem drawcord tightens the cover for a good fit and allows quick
fitting and removal.
No tools are needed: lay it over the mower, pull the hem cord, and remove it
when required. It folds into the supplied storage bag.
Name a machine, publish no size
The listing does both of these things:
It names a specific mower model, which nothing else on this shelf does.
It asks the buyer to measure their mower’s length, width and height before
ordering — and then publishes none of its own.
Those two sit oddly together. For an owner of the named machine the first
settles it. For everybody else the second is an instruction with nothing to
compare against.
This page reports both.
The same fabric as the cheap ones
210D Oxford with a silver inner coating.
That is the identical specification to two covers on this shelf at a third of
the price, and one of those also publishes three dimensions and both unit
systems.
What the difference buys is the machine name and whatever fitting work sits
behind it. On a cover, a good fit is worth something real — a loose cover
flogs in the wind and abrades the machine it is protecting — but the listing
does not demonstrate the fit with a figure.
Reducing moisture during storage
A claim worth reading carefully.
A cover keeps rain off. It does not dry a machine, and a cover put over a wet
mower holds the damp against it — which on a steel deck is worse than nothing.
Scrape the deck, let it dry, then cover.
The fixing
A hem drawcord alone, like the cheapest cover here. Two others on this shelf
add a strap or metal eyelets, and on an exposed site that is what stops a cover
leaving.
Availability
From 33 € to 36 €, that being the spread across the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores on the day of the survey.
Beyond the euro zone, the British Amazon store prices it in its own currency, which the spread above sets aside.
Nothing came back from the American Amazon store at all; the buy button there runs a search rather than opening an empty page.
